Why Farmscape?

Farmscape is the largest urban farming venture in Los Angeles. We design, install, and maintain urban farms. We are bringing the farm back to the city one plot at a time. We are even campaigning to be the Mayor of Los Angeles.

Design

To improve our food and cities, we need to rethink gardens.

This is not your grandmother’s garden! We can design a farm that complements your space, whether it's a backyard, a rooftop, a park, a corporate campus, or a school.

Install

We build gardens with the best materials because we care deeply about the yield.

Site conditions can vary, but we make sure to position the garden for best results based on sun exposure, grading, and drainage.

Growing food requires a minimum of 6-8 hours of direct sunlight per day. Gardens on level, well-draining soil are the simplest, but we can adapt to most slope conditions, hard surfaces, rooftops, etc.

Most installs are done in a day.

							Weather and pest-resistant, food safe raised-bed, L-jointed with aluminum corner pins, usually redwood or plastic composite

							Gopher Wire

							Wire mesh protects your crops from burrowing pests (installed when necessary)

Maintain

An expert Farmscape farmer will visit your urban farm weekly to manage all aspects of your vegetable cultivation. Our weekly farming service includes successive plantings, pest and disease control, crop rotation, and irrigation maintenance. We make quarterly visits to prune and maintain home orchards.
